Group Chief Executive Officer

A 20-year veteran of the exhibitions and media industry, Jean-François leads Constellar in the next phase of its business development, both organic and inorganic, to become one of the leading MICE companies in Asia. 

Prior, Jean-François held senior leadership positions at RX France (Reed Exhibitions), UBM Brazil (now part of Informa Markets) and easyFairs. He brings a stellar track record of leading successful mergers and acquisitions as well as integrating diverse businesses in dynamic environments.

Chief Executive, Markets

Wee Phong leads the Exhibitions arm of Constellar, managing an innovative team who is passionate in growing the event business globally by connecting and collaborating with like-minded corporations, generating opportunities for stakeholders to collaborate with one another. 

During his previous tenure at Singapore Press Holdings as Executive Director of Sphere Exhibits and Executive Vice President (Circulations), Wee Phong built the former organically from zero base into one of the biggest event companies in Singapore and expanded the circulation department from a cost centre to a revenue centre covering retail, distribution, marketing, franchising, consumer experience and convenience stores.

With more than 27 years of experience, Yew Seng brings a wealth of financial management expertise to Constellar. He was previously the Vice-President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the magazines business group of Singapore Press Holdings, as well as CEO of SPH Magazines. He was most recently the Head of Capital Markets at SPH, responsible for fund raising activities of the Group. Yew Seng’s extensive track record includes notable corporate finance and financial analyst positions in Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, Van der Horst Limited and Visa International.

Rizwan Hazarika

Chief, Digital and Technology Office

As Constellar’s Chief Digital Officer, Rizwan is all about being future-ready, championing digital strategy and change initiatives to transform current business practices as Constellar prepares for its next trajectory of growth. 

He also drives the design and socialisation of customer experience journey maps, the adoption of appropriate digital technologies, the reengineering of business processes and models, and the infrastructure for data-driven analytics. 

Prior to joining SingEx, Rizwan held appointments at Deloitte, GE and IBM, where he led digital strategy development, large scale business and technology transformation and customer experience design programs. 

Outside of work, Rizwan is actively involved with a social mentoring network focused on developing undergraduate talent in Singapore.

Richmond Lim

Chief Culinary Officer

As the master of Singapore EXPO and MAX Atria’s kitchens, Chef Richmond is the man in charge of designing and creating unforgettable dining experiences for Constellar’s stakeholders. 

Chef Richmond brings with him more than 35 years of vast banqueting experience from overseeing and managing kitchens of 5-star hotels, convention centres, as well as major events like the 75th Birthday celebration of Singapore’s late Prime Minister and the 39th and 48th editions of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) – the latter of which saw him cook for former President of the United States Barack Obama.

Chef Richmond is also an award-winning author, Officier Maitre Rôtisseur of Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs – Bailliage De Singapour, Certified World Association Chefs Society Judge, Panel of Advisor for Taylor University College and Youth Chef Advisor of Chef Association of Malaysia.

 

Ang Chee Chiang

General Manager, Centre Management

With rich experience in operational, compliance, strategic and safety experience from both public and private sectors, Chee Chiang oversees Centre Management at Singapore Expo. He also manages the commercial, sales and F&B teams to engage and delight customers across the touchpoints on their customer journey. 

He has, in past, worked with distinguished organisations such as Parkway Shenton, National Healthcare Group, Changi Airport Group/CAAS and National Environment Agency.

Executive Director, Events Business

A veteran in the trade events and exhibitions business, James plays a key role in delivering new-to-market launches, acquisitions and strategic alliances for events. He has vast experience in collaborating with industry associations and government agencies through joint venture partnerships to launch inaugural editions of trade exhibitions for emerging markets and sectors across the world. 

In his previous stint as Country General Manager of Reed Exhibitions (Indonesia), he was responsible for managing and growing the exhibition business in Indonesia, successfully launching and managing a portfolio of 10 business events specialising in Building & Construction, Maritime, Transport & Logistics, Franchise & License, Food & Beverage, Pop Culture, Beauty and Baby & Maternity industries.

Michael Lim

Director, Human Resources

Michael brings with him 20 years of experience across various functions and industries, implementing and driving the Group’s talent acquisition and management strategies to meet business needs and growth.      

Starting his career in Process Engineering and New Product Introductions, Michael served as Human Resource Director for 6 years at the Singapore Tourism Board, spearheading numerous HR initiatives, including an organisation-wide Human Capital Management System to streamline the function’s day-to-day operations.
