A 20-year veteran of the exhibitions and media industry, Jean-François leads Constellar in the next phase of its business development, both organic and inorganic, to become one of the leading MICE companies in Asia.
Prior, Jean-François held senior leadership positions at RX France (Reed Exhibitions), UBM Brazil (now part of Informa Markets) and easyFairs. He brings a stellar track record of leading successful mergers and acquisitions as well as integrating diverse businesses in dynamic environments.
Chief Executive, Venues
Wee Phong leads the Venues arm of Constellar, which manages Singapore EXPO.
During his previous tenure at Singapore Press Holdings as Executive Director of Sphere Exhibits and Executive Vice President (Circulations), Wee Phong built the former organically from zero base into one of the biggest event companies in Singapore and expanded the circulation department from a cost centre to a revenue centre covering retail, distribution, marketing, franchising, consumer experience and convenience stores.
Senior Vice President, Centre Management
Overseeing Centre Management at Singapore EXPO, Chee Chiang enables operational excellence and engaging customer experiences across all our visitor touchpoints. He also champions our sustainability efforts towards becoming a net zero carbon MICE venue.
Chee Chiang's rich experience in operations, compliance, strategy and safety comes from his previous tenures at Parkway Shenton, National Healthcare Group, Changi Airport Group/CAAS and National Environment Agency.
Senior Vice President, Markets, B2B
A veteran in the trade events and exhibitions business, James plays a key role in delivering new-to-market launches, acquisitions and strategic alliances for events. He has vast experience in collaborating with industry associations and government agencies through joint venture partnerships.
In his previous stint as Country General Manager of Reed Exhibitions (Indonesia), he was responsible for managing and growing the exhibition business in Indonesia, successfully launching and managing a portfolio of 10 business events.
Vice President, Finance
Meilyn has over 25 years of experience that combines sound financial leadership with a proven track record in a variety of challenging and multicultural environments.
Active in the Event Management, F&B, FinTech and Healthcare industries amongst others, she offers a unique blend of agile leadership with expertise in spearheading strategic planning and tripling bottom-line results.
Vice President, Digital Marketing
Alexandra is a marketing professional with almost 20 years of progressive experience in MNCs and MICE organisations including RX, Clarion Events and UBM in Brazil. Having a good mix of data, business Intelligence and marketing skills, she has successfully transformed the way marketing functions to support business outcomes through digital transformation, coaching and developing marketers and business intelligence professionals towards achieving organisation results.
Senior Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions
Luke has 18 years’ experience in investments, covering investments in Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions, financing platforms, and clean energy sectors as a Director in Temasek's Enterprise Development Group, which focuses on identifying and developing new business enterprises that have the potential to be global, regional or domestic champions.
He started his career at Temasek in 2004, and also covered the natural resources and technology sectors previously.
Yew Jin Khoo
Vice President, Marketing
With close to 20 years of experience in integrated marketing, e-commerce, brand management, advertising and public relations, Yew Jin is responsible for delivering best-in-class brand management and customer experience at the Singapore EXPO.
He was previously Head of Marketing & E-Commerce at Qatar Airways Singapore, leading award-winning campaigns, elevating brand awareness and exceeding online revenue exponentially.
Vice President, People & Development
Michael brings with him 20 years of experience across various functions and industries, implementing and driving the Group’s talent acquisition and management strategies to meet business needs and growth.
Starting his career in Process Engineering and New Product Introductions, Michael served as Human Resource Director for 6 years at the Singapore Tourism Board.
Chief Culinary Officer
Chef Richmond brings with him more than 35 years of vast banqueting experience from overseeing and managing kitchens of 5-star hotels, convention centres, including major events such as the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM).
Chef Richmond is also an award-winning author, Officier Maitre Rôtisseur of Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs – Bailliage De Singapour, Certified World Association Chefs Society Judge, Panel of Advisor for Taylor University College and Youth Chef Advisor of Chef Association of Malaysia.
Chief Financial Officer
Yew Seng brings more than 27 years of financial management expertise to Constellar. He was previously the Vice-President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the magazines business group of Singapore Press Holdings, as well as CEO of SPH Magazines.
He was most recently the Head of Capital Markets at SPH. He has also held corporate finance and financial analyst positions in Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, Van der Horst Limited and Visa International.
Vice President, Sales (Venues)
Sim Lim has built up 13 years of experience in commercial roles across e-commerce, venue ownership, tourism, and live events’ business. At his last role at Klook, he led global strategic partnerships after serving as director of business development for the Southeast Asia region.
Sim Lim has also led special projects at the Singapore Sports Hub. At the Singapore Tourism Board, he oversaw projects such as Formula1 and Rugby Sevens under the Sports Business & Partnership portfolio.
Senior Vice President, International & Business Development
With over 20 years of leadership experience in trade fairs, Mel is an experienced and entrepreneurial Managing Director who has worked with leading trade fair organisers such as Montgomery, Deutsche Messe, Fiera Milano, Messe Frankfurt and more recently, as the Managing Director of Hannover Milano Fairs India, and then as the VP Asia for DMG Events (Singapore).
He has a strong track record of new show launches, building strong brands and leading his team to success.
